This is something that I've been thinking on doing, and decided to post. I had to reflect on how long this bloody journey on the interwebs is, so here is my retrospective on how I got here in the first place.
I'll start out by mentioning how I even started using the internet. Since I thought I was a hipster in video games, I decided to share my "knowledge" towards the world. This is where the international network came to mind. I first made my account in this one site that focused on tips, cheats, & tricks for video games. I had posted stuff that will make you facepalm, such as: HOLD X AND Y IN THE TITLE SCREEN TO GET A DIFFERENT TRACK IN THE MENU! (SSBB)". After being kicked from the site, I decided to go to another place, but I had nowhere to go. Then, in seventh grade, an old friend of me mentioned a peculiar domain name called Youtube (I understood it as Mewtwo). At first, I thought it was pornographic site (don't ask), but after checking myself, I thought it was pretty cool to share your videos worldwide, so I browsed around videos of my liking. Then I stumbled upon ROM edits of Super Mario World while browsing through said site; it was my life-long dream to make my own video game, so I took the chance and got the necessary tools to get started (This particular software is called Lunar Magic). After messing around with it, and making mediocre levels, I decided to submit my mod into this one site that focuses on SMW Modding, SMWCentral.net (or something in those words). It was there where I got the username that I still use up to this day; generic on that site, but whatever. After being banned from the site, and sending hate mail to the admin who had done such act, I decided to upload videos of my mod instead. That's where my Youtube account comes in.
After months of uploading videos with horrible quality and browsing, I eventually learn about the Youtube Streams -these were basically sharing networks on the site- and then meet up with a user by the name of NikoPunkSupeerMaario. After using him to gain popularity (and fail in the process), I met another user in that stream by the name of Shahryar10. Bloody hell, the name itself brings back controversy. This deranged user was the reason why I met other users like Joey, TBY, Ticky. However, those times did not last (obviously), seeing as how Shah started too much chaos and ruined the friendships that were made. By then, I had the idea of creating a clan that focused on Super Smash Brothers Brawl; this idea was inspired because of another user some may be familiar with, CeeY (seeing as how he and I were part of another clan). This clan went by the name of The Smashing Domains, and it barely lasted. After humiliating defeats, and Shah taking down the site completely, I had given up on the clan, leaving me homeless once again. About a year later after the destruction, I get a message from TBY, telling me about the forum that he made and asking me if I wanted to join. I accepted the offer and ended up being here for the past year. During that time, I've met people whom I can deem unforgettable, from the controversial maggot, Zman, to the sir-ness that is Gayman. Also, from the sparkness of Sparky, to the insanity that is Pik. And from the ballistic artist Consome, to the lol(i)fest of the Joey.
Now that is my (cool) story. Thank you, all of you.
