Okay, first let me say i'm thankfully not a windows user on any level, but the terrible times i did use there products it was shit. Im writing this because i saw they are making windows 8. Seriously? What the fuck?!
i used a 800 dollar, windows 7 computer, and it couldn't even run skype! i tried and the fans kicked on so loud that i couldn't hear whom i was talking to. Guess what next? The thing just overheated, burned the table top thing, and froze -___- . Now most Microsoft fanboys think its amazing, because of the 360. let me tell you, i had a brand new xbox360 for Christmas this year and it didn't work at all. After a few hours of uber raging, i gave it back to gamestop and got a different one. Oh fucking joy. I hook it up, its running fine its on a flat surface and it freezes. All the sudden you hear this grinding noise and i shut it off and take out the disk. The disk had a scratch that when through the entire thing! when i say that, i mean i could stick something through the disk now,where the scratch was. I asked for a new one again, and they said some bullshit that i was a scam artist. Your fucking kidding me right!?!?! Well now i still have the broken thing, surprisingly not in pieces yet. Now then, If i used a computer that was shit, tried the Xbox which is the only reason apple is not ahead of them in sales, besides the fact that they just mass produce in expensive shit.
Sorry if this is totally inaccurate, but this was my experience with microsoft product.

GTFO, I have a $1,300 PC with Windows 7, works perfectly fine, and XBOX 360 Elite, and an XBOX 360 Slim Reach version, and they work perfectly fine. You obviously got the cheap XBOX's that were made by Sony.

Microsoft own Windows. Windows is the most used OS in the entire world. Apple can make a fucking console, it won't do them any good. Name 1 thing that apple have made that is original. I doubt you actually bought $800 computer that did that. You were most likely scammed. I have a laptop, runs windows 7, just as good as a Mac. You want to know the price I got it for? £570. I can buy a Mac for double that. And your computer burning, that is not Microsoft's fault. Microsoft only make the OS, nothing else. If a Mac burned, that maybe Apple's fault for making a faulty system, since apple make Apple make Mac's and Mac iOS. Microsoft make the OS, not what is in your computer. Microsoft have failed on the Xbox. Apple would not be ahead of sales if they made a game console. Apple are a major fail. Point made.

Its the most used, because a superior mac is about double what a standard windows computer is. I can bet my life if macs were cheaper, they would dominate in sales...

Ipod was a revolution to the standard mp3, as was the iphone to the regular cell phone.trust me, iv'e used both to an extent, apple is better when it all boils down... Being completely immunte to viruses, thats somthing to brag about... When was the last time my mac froze ? Never. Its never froze on me. I only have 1GB of ram, and its running 10.5.8, osx leapard, and has 700K files and it still runs like a dream. Point and case

Time for me to make fun of you syduck. You complain about Microsoft sucking and Apple owning... but did you know Microsoft (or more specifically Bill Gates I believe) own something close to 40% of Apple?

Now for your complaints:

1. As stated earlier, if the fan was quite loud or the system froze due to overheating (which can happen on a Mac too if they overheat FYI) it's a defective unit from the computer's manufacturer, not Microsoft.

2. Your Xbox problem is actually a well known problem. You can not, under any circumstances, touch an Xbox when it's on, you will destroy your disk. Also, you have to allow for the ventalation, which means you should actually be standing the system up since the fan is on the bottom. It's a major design flaw and is the reason the Xbox is in 3rd for this generation (behind the PS3 and Wii).

Microsoft as a company is not bad. Neither is Windows as an OS. Personally, I hate their operating systems, both portable and desktop, so you saying that it's twice as better is really based on no facts. Hell, I even like Linux more...

As for the Xbox, you failed again. If you don't like it, go buy an iPhone and play games on it (LOL).

Apple pretty much have a portable games console. When I do watch TV (rarely) I see Apple adverts where they show more of the gaming side of the iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad. Whats so great about them anyway? You can't even flash videos. So no pornhub. I agree with Skochko, you can not have an opinion on something you have not used. Well said syduck And apple is better than microsoft (Kinda shown by being #1 Most valueable company in the world) So Syduck and i are both apple fanboys, although i dont think Microsoft is bad, I think it's quite decent, I just PREFER apple.

Skype runs perfectly on Windows, just ask the fellow users who HAS it on Windows. These are all idiotic complains. Take your time and learn your facts. I agree with everyone else who said you failed. I am sorry but this is just a useless thread. There are many more problems with Apple, and you can't blame Microsoft with mainly your problems with Xbox.
