So, I have a team that's quite weak against ground types (for example: I
have an Empoleon), so I was just wondering what pokemon I should add
and catch for my team to make me stronger against ground types? Because
they are a real annoyance sometimes.
I'd like it if you described the pokemon, not just the types.
Thanks.

Ice, Grass, Water, are good for against Ground. If you have a flying type Pokemon, it will not take any damage from Ground type moves. Abomasnow could be a perfect match-up against Ground types.

Pokemon described as "bulky waters" can easily take some strong hits. Swampert, Suicune, Quagsire, and Slowbro are some examples. And, as MrGayManWatch said, flying types are good to have. Gyarados can avoid ground moves and hit back with powerful water moves. If you use a flying pokemon and they use roost however, they are vulnerable to hits that turn.

DD Gyarados - Sets up on almost every ground pokemon with the exception of Swampert, Hippowdon, and Quagsire.

Crocune - Nooby, but it rapes.

This is a pointless thread. Your team will never be good if you make it this way. You need to make a competitively viable team, if you want to win. Then test it and assess your weaknesses and make necessary changes
