Gamespot is constantly giving 8+ to main Pokemon games, so this one will not be an exception.

+New animations and cutscenes (Yea, it's great)
+C-Gear offers incredible social features (Haven't tried any, coz Japanese)
+645+ Pokémon (That is actually a bad thing)
-Same old forumla (It's working, isn't it?)

The game got great scores, but one of em got a higher score though

Anyways, Black/White IS a good game, without a doubt. Why would they need to be paid to rate it so high?

Nintendo Power gave B/W 9/10. I honestly expected 9.5 for some reason.

Most games get scores before release. Most critics are able to get games before release by some means, and as such review it before it is released to the public. This is for people who are deciding to get the game or not.

This game is like a major game, a new generation? Even those full obsessed with FPS's but still play Pokemon games will buy this one.

Oshawott and tepig start off alittle slow in power
oshawott has shell blade which is destruction
tepig has ALOT of offensive power
oshawott is well rounded
snivy is more defensive

Nope, already explained in the other thread. And FPS is First Person Shooter.
I think the rating is fitting. It is really 8.5-9.0, but I expect worse ratings from non-Nintendo critics. I personally think this game is better than DP, but worse than the other ones. RS is meh, but the region is flawless, so that is my favorite generation. Plus Gen 3 Pokemon are great.

Edited. B/W has 4 reviews, which give it an official Metacritic score.

Fourth was by Edge Magazine, which gave it a 8/10. Good score.

The game is bound to sell out in the first day.

ONMUK calls B/W "the best Pokemon ever", and MGC says "It's not a real overhaul for the series, but it is the best version so far - and so by extension one of the best portable video games ever
made."

I'll stop with saying something every time 2 new reviews added, I'll do so when about 5-6 are added. It's starting to become spam in my eyes.

Triple battles are stupid. Did any of the critics say anything about the fact that triple battles are a poor attempt at bringing something new? In my opinion, its just way too gimmicky.

New review by Hardcore Gamer Magazine. The game was given an 85.
I wonder when (and if) we get the first review below 80.
