Well, it's been years since they made a new one, and I'm kind of seeing the grim parts of this. I don't want them to stop Star Fox, but sadly they haven't made one, and they aren't hinting either. The Starfox on the 3DS is just a repeat, not an actual game.

I think they will, once everyone forgets about it. I mean, they are making a Kid Icarus game, something that last came out about 20 years ago. I have never played that game, but still, it gives hope for those SNES and N64 games that are still waiting.
Once again, Nintendo is a publisher.

You're actually right. Kid Icarus was like a ditched series, but then again it was only ONE game, and not a series

Chances are high they will. The remake might also be a test to see how well Star fox works on 3DS.

Well i wan't a Colosseum/XD-kind of Pokemon game for Wii. And we got Pokemon Battle Revolution, which is a ripoff Pokemon Stadium series, just much worse, and that PokePark thingy i played for 10 minutes, then gracefully shut the Wii down
The same may happen for StarFox. We may just have to wait a little too much, until all our hopes are gone and THEN they will release it. I, for one, never knew about Kid Icarus until Brawl came out, even though i owned a NES...

I knew who the ice climbers were, but I didn't know they had their own game.

STARFOX WAS SIDESCROLLING?
And Yeah, I do. The point of Starfox64 3D was to show that the series wasn't dead and that they plan to make another game.
Also, we have a rule against necroposting (posting in topics that are long dead) but since this is a reviveable topic, and you're new, I'll let it slide.

Since this was revived, might as well say this:
If Star Fox 64 3D sells well enough, Nintendo will make more Star Fox. If it doesn't, the series will be gone for a long, long time (excluding SSB4, of course).

Metroid is actually quite popular. NINTENDO JUST BLOODY IGNORED IT'S 25TH ANNIVERSARYStrikercups wrote:nintendo really needs to start thinking about their "less popular" series, like Stax fox, F-zero, Metroid, etc. I think alot of people will be happy if they see those again. Well only time will tell

If you want to revive another series, get Nintendo to call Shigesato Itoi and convice him to continue MOTHER!

I'm starting to wonder how the fan game will turn out.

I agree, a whole six years for the Wii and Fox's only appearance was SSBB.
