If they're planning on adding more 3rd party characters, I think they should add only another 2 maximum. I'd say Megaman (indeed, the classic version) and Klonoa would be plenty.

Nah, I think they'll use Zero to represent the Mega Man series instead of Mega Man if Capcom wants to put a character in SSB4.
