Because I can't think of a truly good reason. Also, the 14th Amendment guarantees equal rights to ALL citizens, not some citizens, not most citizens, and not straight citizens, but ALL citizens.

I respectfully ask everyone to treat this as a serious discussion and not to troll.

I personally have nothing against gays and lesbians. Sure, I don't support their parades, which block the traffic and cause a chaos in the city, but generally speaking, everyone should be allowed to choose their sexuality, get married and have kids.

There are many kids who need parents. Parents are parents, homosexual or not.

I don't care as long as I'm left alone :3

In all seriousness, I think the real reason is because it pisses off homophobics.

it doesnt need to be illegal, but some people just attack gays because they feel its twisted or they think its a bad influence to kids, but it really isnt IMO,
