I think that it will be cool if they change the starters from grass, water, and fire to dark, fighting, and psychic.

^considering the pokedex will most likely be the same, i dont see how that will be pulled off, but meh

though im not likely to get it, im just hoping the game feels fresh, not just easy money to cheat out of fans like most of the 3rd versions in a gen are (yellow,crystal,emerald,platinum)

But these are not third versions. Or maybe they are, just renamed and doubled.
They are not going to change the starter types. That would be stupid, since it would break a very long tradition and they already added custom moves for the starters in the first games.

I wish it had some connection to other regions. It has a freaking airport and a lot of cruise ships. I know it's highly unlikely, but still...

It's cool, but I wish they would remove all of those camera angles and stuff, like how the camera spins and turns like that and just stay with the original style, same in the battles, no zooming in when you attack, please! It just removed the feel of the good old pokemon series. Now with all these additions it feels as if Nintendo are trying too hard to make the game better, but are making it worse.

I agree. The 3D effects are terrible. DS is just not capable of that.
