Sonic Paradise spoke with a SEGA representative about Sonic the Hedgehog.

Among things that were said was a third title in the wonderful Storybook series (and by wonderful I mean terrible) and another Sonic and SEGA title (hey, All-Stars Racing was strong competition for Mario Kart, and almost as good. Almost.) But the most interesting was this... (quoted form Sonic Paradise)

Sonic '06 is often called Sonic Adventure 3 because of the many similarities (minus the glitches), and Sonic Unleashed was supposed to be another Sonic Adventure, but was changed later on (it's original tentative name, Sonic World Adventure, is still used in the Japanese version). So if this were a Sonic Adventure, it would be 4 or 5. I called it SA3 because the previous games weren't called Sonic Adventure.

and because they sucked, remember to overlook the crap (directed at sonic 06 and unleashed with those goddamn night stages)
