Pokemon B/W seems to be breaking records. The game sold 2 million copies in 2 weeks (which is pretty damn impressive), which 1.08 million within the first 24 hours. Pokemon is definitely going strong, and maybe it will continue doing great for quite some time.

What else did we expct? b/w isrevolutionary, IMO. it adds many new features, introduces more new pokemon han ever before at once, and actually varies a little from the boring old pokemon rote storylie

What can you say? It was quite the anticipated title. That and 3d bridges and stuffz seem to turn people on. B/W is FILLED with that.

I still like HGSS though, because it is the most updated game with no new Pokes. Unova is a decent region on its own, but it does not match the epicness of Kan-Joh and Hoenn. It's just a good game, but not flawless. The graphics are still ugly at times.

While 2 million sales in 2 weeks is impressive, it's not suprising when you're netting 2 games. Will probably peak at aroun 10 million units between the 2 games, which makes it a nice selling title.

It's technically one game though. Nintendo is smart enough to make certain people get both games, but 90% of the people just buy one.
