Choose now! My personal favorite is the second, because of how nostalgic it is to play to this day.

Now that I think of it, I like Gen 1 the most. I love Gen 2 as well, but Johto is not so fun as Kanto. Hoenn is amazing, but that is about the only thing i Like about Gen 3. Gens 4 and 5 are too easy.

So yea, Gen 1 > 2, 3 > 4, 5

i think gen 5 is better then gen 4

1, 2, 3, 4, 5...hmmm, last place for me goes to 4thy generation, third is good cus of red/blue remake, so i dunno, 3>1>2>5>4 for me i guess

2nd because there are 16 badges and two whole regions, including Kanto! I actually rented Soul Silver a while ago. Is it bad that I like 2 remakes more than Diamond and Pearl?

not at all, diamond and pearl wasn't the greatest generation.

Idk, Kanto's storyline was kind of the best. And the region is the most mysterious. Plus, it has Lavender Town, the creepy version. Epic

I'm only deciding with 1-4, I'm still figuring out where Gen 5 will be.

3 > 2 > 1 > 4

I guess 4 because that's when I got into pro playing.

Mine is 1 because its 2d!

First, second and third generations are fully 2D. Gen 4 had some 2.5D-ish objects, while Gen 5 is partly 3D.

I really like generation 4. Not just for the pokemon,but platinum is my favorite pokemon game as far as story. Black and white are my favorite as far as graphics and battle gameplay. So i guess generation 4 and 5 are my top two favorites. but i do like all generations of course.

3rd. It had nice variety of places such as sea n forest, and the pokemon's art style was sweet

Yeah, third was definitely one of my favorites. Overall, I honestly cannot decide.

I liked Johto the best, just because Silver was the first Pokemon game I played, so it's nostalgic to me.

That is the same way i feel about Kanto in the 3rd Gen

Ugh, I hated FireRed and LeafGreen. Idk why, it's a good pair of games.
