I just wanted to make this, since they are both very similar characters. Before it used to be Lucas, but its starting to lean over to Ness more. I will be neutral, though.

His Stick can reflect projectiles (Mastered the timing)
Ness can do the same with his bat, but I find it a little troubling to time it right.

Lucas has actually some good finishers that are probaby stronger than Ness's like PK Love *Up Normal Attack* that usually KO the opponent if they have like 70% of damage. Ness's Yo-Yo...

Lucas does have his Rope Snake to Tether Grab edges. Ness does not.

Both of them do have Meteor Smashes. Ness has his Down Air Attack, which is good. Lucas has his Side Air, which could be good if you hit the opponent in the right spot...

I've battled a few Semi-Pros of Brawl and they can do quite a few strategic moves called the Magnet Pull and some others. Magnet Pull is good for side way recoveries.

LUCAS BY FAR! has better special attcks than ness (deal more damage) + he uses PSI in regualr A attacks!
