Yes, I personally believe that in contrary to whether it seems as if he does or not, he's basically releasing his fecal matter in front of someone who tries so hard to respect him, yet does not, hence the reason he gets thrown into an endless pit towards death just so Mario can jump an extra foot.

Yeah, it honestly disturbed me that Nintendo was flat out alright with Mario, the biggest mascot in all of gaming, has anti-social personality disorder.
