Kay, so I believe dogs lay eggs, and then puppies start coming out of the eggs after about four weeks.
When I was a kid, about three years old, my grandma's dog was outside and was about to have puppies, and while the dog was sitting down, it sat up and walked away, and there laid an egg. I waited for awhile until that egg hatched, but it didn't, so I ran inside to get some juice. I came back, the egg was broken, and there were a few puppies running around with the mother dog.
So I believe the rumours are true, dogs DO lay eggs, and several dogs come out of one egg.
