EA wanted to buy Valve a report says. EA was going to pay up to 1 billion to destroy buy Valve.

"Valve has been pursued over the years by Electronic Arts, which would very likely have valued Valve at well over $1 billion had the talks progressed that far..."

Peter More, EA's president, has said that Valve is "on the cutting edge of the future of this industry".

Gabe's response was that if Valve had been bought, Valve would have been "disintegrated" if it was bought by another company. "It’s way more likely we would head in that direction than say, ‘Let’s find some giant company that wants to cash us out and wait two or three years to have our employment agreements terminate,'

Wow, I am so glad Valve wasn't bought.

Ari Gold ftw.

Yea, EA wants to ruin everything. While I am not a Valve fan, I respect them. I have no more respect for EA.
