Panchi, you just brought me back to my childhood where I was looking at the school library and I'd see one of those books. But I didn't touch it because novels bore me. I didn't even want to read the original Haruhi light novel.

"Some kind of like animal"? THAT'S KERMIT!

I've read most of the series, and I can say it is a very enjoyable series. One of the books reference South Park (Where Rachel, as an elephant, kills Kenny, followed by Kyle saying "Oh my god, she killed Kenny"). The story has many humorous tidbits that make it worth reading.

Also they kill controllers (Villians) and try to save the Earth from a parasitic race known as Yeerks that control humans and creatures alike, and it's up to the five kids and the Andalite to protect Earth using solely their morphing powers.
