Yeah i think they made Koopa ahead of Wario because Retro is making this game, so the want to make nostalgia, and new at the same time.

Well if it were really the default cast, they would add Donkey Kong Jr. Plus they haven't ran out of ideas, Retro Studios is making this.

They can't run out of ideas. Nintendo world has a shitload of characters that were never used. Goombario!

I'd rather see Geno. But Geno's owned by Square Enix.

It was confirmed there will be more than the 16 characters revealed.
