I can't believe there are 9 Mario Karts. Out of all of them, Double Dash is without a doubt my favorite. I love the fact you have two characters, and I also love the special items (the Chain Chomp is beast and I love the hearts). Also, I love Shine Thief mode. Why did they take that out of MK Wii? Another thing, the tracks were amazing. Double Dash is quite possibly the greatest racing game ever made.

Double Dash is the best. Awesome courses, awesome music, awesome items, and interesting tag team mechanic make for the best Mario Kart experience EVER

I forgot to mention the music. I agree, DD has amazing music.

Double Dash by far. MK Wii is just a lame copy with online multiplayer to make up for it. I loved the special powerups in DD and amazing tracks like Daisy Cruiser, or whatever it was called.

Fuck, they are all so amazing. Super Mario Kart, fucking love that game. Mario Kart 64 was fucking amazing too, never played Double Dash, 7 is great too, and by far the Wii version is my favourite.

I've never played 7, but I agree, Mario Kart DS is one of the best in the series. It's actually in my top 3, along with Double Dash (obviously) and 64.

I never really liked MK DS. My top 3 are DD, 64 and Wii.

I agree with Skoch for the most part, I found DS a but lacking. 7 Is awesome however

I respectfully disagree with both Skoch and Roshi. I thought MK DS had some of the best tracks in the series, like Tick Tock Clock, Waluigi Pinball, Luigi's Mansion, and the Airship track. It also had ROB. And it had online (although so did Double Dash), although I don't play online, so it doesn't really matter to me. One thing I did hate about that game is that after a while, my hand starts to hurt and get uncomfortable.

This. DS was awkward for that game. Not the game's fault, though. Perhaps I dislike it for wrong reasons.
