Because mine is so dead that I only have 17 subscribers.

Back then i wanted MANY SUBS!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAA! So what i did was make videos that people want to see. But what i did, was think further, INTO THE FUTURE! I knew there was going to be a 4th Smash Bros. so i made a few videos based of that. Also did a few "yt poop" related things like Weegee. Also try to not make stechy vids. Like i some from other people u see poor animation and terrible recording/buzzymic/ blury images and stuff like that. Btw, i am a small youtuber, only have 609 subs, which im guessing a third have their account closed and shizz. I don't care for youtube now though.

Pretty much what Gayman said. Make things people wanna see, do original things if you can, try not to steal, and have decent/good quality on said things. I'm like at 1000 something subs, but i really dont care since I have fun making my vids. =P

You can make crossover videos with popular YouTubers and get subs.

Pay attention to Gigafide. He is doing a really good series of how to start a youtube channel and get popular. Here is the first episode he has done. I'm actually following this.



I have a youtube account with over 300 subs, but not my audience. I got it because I got boxed of a youtuber for making him a background. Got over 250 subs from him.

Yes, making icons and backgound will also get yous ubs

But people treat you as a free service. I lost a couple of subscribers and friends when I started charging people for graphics. I was overloaded with stuff to do, people expected it as soon as possible and a subscriber isn't really worth it. So after a while you can start charging people like me, then your computer breaks, you get a bunch of people wanting to buy and then when you get a new computer they don't want you to work for them and you have a bunch of inactive subscribers. w00t
