I never liked Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. The only Square Enix games I liked were Super Mario RPG and Mario Hoops 3-on-3. And since we aren't getting another SMRPG or anything other than sports Marios by SE, they have nothing interesting.

Shut the fuck up Gman. Final Fantasy VII is the shit, IV was pretty good, VIII is great, and SMRPG can't compare to those games.

You CAN dish on FF, but the series did provide some of the most classic SRPG games on the market. Unfortnately they are getting farther and farther between . This is why I've ventured to Square's lesser known Japanese competitors, like Idea Factory, Gust, Nippon Iichi Software, Red Entertainment, 5pb, Compile Heart etc. Great SRPG's and JRPG's that Square used to provide us, for the sake of all RPG players out there, lets hope Square gets their act together (though NIS, Gust, IF and CH are putting some awesome games).
