Having won last year's UBtT, I am honored to be in this current position. I look forward to a wonderful game with you all. You will not disappoint, I am sure of it.

The rating shall be based on how MWH scored the year prior
Bad = -1 points
Neutral = 0 points
Good = 1 point
Super = 2 points

Basically, if your entry is any of these adjectives in meeting the requirements of said round, such as achieving a mood or establishing a set connection between a visual or video, then you shall gain the certain amount of points attributed with each rating.

Since there are 12 people participating, that means there will be 10 fantastic rounds of music goodness. Bias shall be set aside in most cases so you shall receive fair judgement as I see fit.

Now...to commence the first round of the second Ultimate BtT....
Let us start simple. With the basics.

Give me a song that emphasizes on power. It focuses on power itself...the power emanating from within you! A song that gets you pumped up and makes you feel ready to grasp reality and do the impossible! (inb4 kanye west's power)

You just discovered the inevitability that will occur in the future of the world you live in. Even though the chances of you changing history are slim, you summon the power within you and push on forward to stop an apocalyptic event from occurring by traveling through time itself.

I think this emphasizes on power with it's constant drops and rises in the musics tone. It is a song which IMO says that you should be using everything in your power to go and win!

Wasn't there a rule about one franchise per round? CL already used SotC.

That didn't apply in the first UBtT

Although Smash's statement is correct, the rules here are still being broken. One cannot submit another track from a game (not a series) already used up by someone else.

In the next round, you can use a SotC song or any other song from a franchise used in this round, unless you yourself used that franchise last round or a previous round.

Pretty much the same reasoning as the last one, except this one is fast paced, and emphasizing that you should use all your energy to go out and defeat the enemy.

Hard to believe this is SNES music. I can imagine something like this playing in the old days as background music when you are getting yourself prepared to go on an epic quest. Now fuck you, MWH.
