Quick summary, the game is the same 2D adventure with improved 3D visuals. The 3D effect increases the depth of the dungeons. Lighting, water effects, and other such things are in the game. The game so far has one new level, but more new things may be added to make this more than a port.

The game comes out August 9th, 2011 for $39.99.

This excites me. I have recently been tapping back into my cave story love a bit

I think it's the reservoir. But this is a good, the new stage remains a mystery :O

Seems pretty kool atm. Wonder if they'll add more features.

Looks kool for a newer box art. Now let's see what it'll look like when it comes out as I can tell this probably wont be the final art for it.
