What kind of game cube controller do you guys use? What's your favorite?

I've been trying to find a good, durable controller for a long time. Here's what I've been through:

Countless wireless 3rd-party controllers from Madcatz to Pelecan (or however the fuck it's spelled) all of which either screwed up, broke, or felt weird.

Black, silver and purple Nintendo Game Cube controllers - They all worked fairly well and I liked them, but I feel like the cord is too short and they have all broken. The purple one was the best, surprisingly, lasting almost 6 months. The other two broke very quickly. The rubbed on the control and C-stick came off the black and the cord messed up for the silver.

Nintendo Wavebird - As far as wireless controller go this is definitely the best and I'd love using it if not for the annoying bottom part. It makes the controlled feel big and uncomfortable.

I've ordered a new controller from Amazon that was released in 2008 exlusively in Japan. It has a 10 foot cord and is white to match the wii. Hopefully this one will be good and last me awhile.

So what kind of GCC experience do you have? What's your favorite? Reviews and recommendations nao!

I say the WaveBird. It's very useful, although I don't find it bulky. I've been using it for a long time, so I'm probably just used to it.

Calm down >.> You didnt get mad when Zman told you to get a wavebird... :/
That'll be your pre-warning for breakin' rule 1. Am I bad now? Razz
Anywho, I'd say just stick with the regular GC controls, as they're most reliable.

No, he said he liked it. I think he was smart enough to know that I had it, unlike you. You're really starting to annoy me with your shit lately. I'm 'bout to stop talking to you.

So you can talk shit to me whenever you like and I can't even be playful for even one post? Yeah, that's fair. [/obvious sarcasm]

It's a serious thread. Your reply contributed absolutely nothing and was uncalled for, admin. Now quit posting here.

I want REAL opinions on gamecube controllers, not annoying fail troll posts.

Quite hypocritical, as you try to fail troll me a few times, yet you're calling me one. On top of that I contributed, but you're too ignorant to realize that. I'll repeat myself then. The best choice'd have to be the regular GC controllers because it's the most reliable of the lot. Now for a new thing. The wavebird is also a good option, but if you dont like wireless stuff and the necessity to buy/charge batteries every so often to add to the total of batteries already being used for your wii remote, then don't go for it. Christ, I dont see how you even get offended when you try to get me offended at many points. :/

Like I said last night, when you ask my opinion or tell me something serious I don't say stupid things. Have I ever once "trolled" you for asking me about a pokemon set? I've complained that you ask too much sure, but I almost always give you an honest answer. When you ask my advice or tell me something I always give my opinion.

Just think about if I said "get over it and quit cryin'" when you told me about why you like Koopas.

And that's not helpful. As I said I've tried the wavebird and all Nintendo controllers (except the white ones and some limited edition ones). They are all slightly different. The black and silver ones have a slightly better z button and shoulder buttons than the purple. Wavebird feels too big.

Now I want to know what peoples' favorite GCC is. Third-party, Nintendo, Wireless idc Just post which one you like the best and why.

Well, I'm truly sorry if I offended you or anything. Unfortunately, I've only tried a few of the other controls out there, so I can't help any more. Madcatz and this other one which has a name that escapes me. Both were alright and one of them even had some turbo pressing one, though they both broke pretty damn easily and had an M button, which was like the z button, but on the opposite side and I never found out its purpose tbh.

May i ask why you need a Game Cube Controller? What i use is this:
Game Cube Controllers 140
Simple and u can find them cheap, i also like that it's wireless, i haven't tried any other one rather than the ones that come with the system.
