ok so just list you 5 favorite franchises from nintendo here,

1.Mario (the most diverse franchise ever, ranges from classic 2d platforming to paper RPGs)
2.Zelda(a fun franchise with lots of games with many dungeons and epic battles)
3.Donkey Kong(Mostly the RARE games and DKCR,more platforming)
4.Kirby(original style of platforming,sucking up enemies and copy abilities, and now using yarn)
5.Metroid(awesome platformer, adventure, shooter franchise)

1. The Legend of Zelda
Best video game series ever, never had so much fun with any game series in my life.

2. Mario
He's fun, but some games can be annoying.

3. Pokemon (kind of)
Pokemon Gold and Silver really did it for me, Red and Blue are awesome as well, Black and White are pretty good, but I am skeptical about the other generations that I haven't played.

4. Golden Sun
Puzzles, action, and story all at their best!

5. Super Smash Bros
Amazing gameplay, so fun to play!

It has to be Nintendo? Not in order, although Mario is on top.

1. Mario obviously. No point in explaining.
2. Pokemon. It is really fun, but gets repetitive after a while. Really enjoyed it in one period.
3. Super Smash Brothers. 64 was fun, but Melee was amazing. Brawl was good as well, mainly because of the better (yet again stupid) story mode and WiFi support.
4. Cooking Mama. Obviously a filler. Stupid game but spawned the epic character of Mama.
5. Metroid Prime. Not a big fan of the original Metroid series, so I'm going with Metroid Prime. The three games are pretty epic, but I still find them inferior to Halo.

Skochko, you think your list is bad, it took me the better part of an hour to come up with 5 pure Nintendo series that I've actually played lol. Most of the games I've played are all 3rd party titles so this was actually really difficult:

1. Duck Hunt: that's right, Duck Hunt, the most epic game ever! And yes I know I'm stretching calling it a series, but it's Duck Hunt.

2. Mario - it's Mario.....

3. Star Fox - For a shooter I actually like these games, though the on rails part does get a little annoying, but what can you expect from that concept.

4. Zelda: would have ranked higher had it not been for the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time, that fucking slap in the face can die, especially the master quests version.

5. Kirby - stretching here, I really haven't played many of these games, but it's the only other 1st party Nintendo series I've played.

For those of you who are curious, Pokemon is NOT a 1st party Nintendo title, GameFreak are an independent. Since I take favorite Nintendo franchise to only include 1st party titles, that became my list.
