The 3DS will be available in Japan by October, and the price will be revealed September 29th. The 3DS will be released sometime in 2011 in America, and March 25th in Europe. The price could possibly be in excess of $250 once it is released in America.

Cool. I can probably get a 3DS the first day it's out. It will be worth it.

Why? The Wii is a revolutionary console (not anymore) that's on the TV. The screen of the DS is smaller, 3D graphics aren't as equal to the Wii, and frankly it's almost impossible to go higher than 250$.

It's funny because the Wii is only $200 now. It's going to be 180 minimum and 220 maximum.

Edit: the 3DS will be released around Feb 2011 in Japan, with a price of 300 american dollars. The price will most likely go down by release. 3DS WILL be released in March 2011 everywhere else. The 3DS comes with a 2GB memery card for use with picture storage and other SD card stuff. The 3DS has a Virtual Console with games on the NES, SNES, GB, and GBA. The only known game on VC atm is Super Mario Land, but the other games can easily be predicted.

3DS won't be so amazing because you'll have to wear glasses when you play if you want 3D, i think. I like the virtual console thing, though i doubt it'll get earthbound..

The price will be lower once it's in NA. The wii also costed more, but once released, costed less.
