So I've been thinking, again. My bro has been nagging about being a moderator on here. Well I went on many other forums, besides MK and looked at their numerous groups. Most of them have a "mini-moderator" usergroup. So I was thinking of a "ModCop" group, controlled by none other than leader modcop himself, my bro. The Modcop's job on the forum is to only moderate the groups in the Other category. Sounds bad or good? I want honest opinions.
Modcops to moderate or not?

I think it would work. Having someone around to keep things under control if a mod is unavailable would be helpful.

Not only that, but since the Other Category has the most posts and frequently used, a Modcop wouldn't be bad.

That sounds great, seeing how I very active on this site all of a sudden. I guess I could give this MiniModerators thing a go!

Hopefully it will. I think I'll update the ModCop idea a little more in a different post.

Just think about it, we had the same powers as Modcop, now we get to ban, and not we are different.

Not really. You're moderators, which gives you full access to moderate and ban. Modcops can't ban AND can only moderate one category of the forum.

Could a modcop be a mod? And can a member go straight to Mod without being modcop?

No, a modcop can't be a mod. Basically, modcop would be moderators with a different name. and no, members can't to moderators unless they belong in the modcop or elite member group.
