You all fail to grasp what Metal Gear is.

It was created in Kojima's movie mindset, the one thing that nourished the roots of the series. Metal Gear, at least the Solid ones (cwutididthar?), always felt like a movie experience to me, which is what Kojima was probably going for. As long as Kojima is supervising this, it won't bomb.

That movie shouldn't count as an adaptation of the games, since it strayed away from the source material (sort of how Michael Bay's upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie shouldn't be an adaptation of the franchise since he's making the turtles aliens).
