I've used this song before in previous BtTs, and people who know me well know this is one of my favorite songs in video games, and I have a feeling Ken will love it as well.

Then this song starts up and the fight between DW and Arthur commences. DW brings out her loKo Sword cause she's LOCO for CoCO PUffs and begins to barrage Arthur with her Endless Slice Storm. Arthur then dodges in time and transforms into Arthtron: HyperJet Mode and rams himself into DW, rocketing into the canyon nearby, resulting in an action packed and high paced fight sequence resulting in devastating results for their environment, but no end to their fighting.
That's how epic this song is. That this scenario above would actually LOOK AND SOUND COOL THANKS TO THE SONG ALONE

I feel like this song is divided the way your request goes. The first part is peaceful, calm, complementing the scenery you described. The second part is also peaceful, but a bit more dramatic, which can be applied to the second part of your request. Finally, the sudden ending part is perfect for "Only then…"...

Zman - It was a good entry. Superb in regards to the intro. The choir of ominous voices was perfect. Hopeless and lost in darkness. However the "quiet" part of the song could be done without. More ominous choirs would've been better for it helps signify that the man is not alone. Although this is a mental and spiritual battle, the man is haunted by his own demons in which he must face. An inner darkness. So it's not fitting that the song represents "lonely hopelessness" in some parts. Thus the quieting choir hurts your score.

CL - Very excellent choice. You interpreted the environment in music form perfectly. I sense a rainy atmosphere with a cool breeze to accompany the downpour. Along with that I sense a perseverance...however I do not sense the love, the motive, behind this perseverance. Thus it loses it's ground in the second stanza for this environment is representing an emotional state rather than a physical place. Although, again you captured that perfectly you failed to capture the hope and motive of it all.

MWH - Another satisfying entry from you. As the song title suggests, it is hopeless, so it seems. The despair and the sadness. All of it seems as if it will never end. I can grasp the sadness indeed. However, I sense something that Zman's did not contain. The resentment from the man. For the key is the fact that he can release himself from this pain. These bound chains that cling to him. If only he can take that step to climb out of the darkness and back into the light. However, his further resentment and delving on the matter only plunges him deeper and deeper into the shadows. Binding the chains ever more tightly. But it lacks the demonic atmosphere I wished to exemplify in the writing. Something that Zman managed to contain perfectly.

Mama - It's surprising how well Okami's music can capture the essence of both the physical and the spiritual. Your description explains it perfectly. Such a beautiful and natural scene, the chimes representing the sparkling stars in the reflective rippling water. So perfect. And as the song slowly builds up, the narrator also builds up to what to him is the most important and perfect thing to him; the love of his life. And with that all of the emotion is released through the song and intertwines with the excerpt in a masterful way. Well done

Roshi - The violins. I love violins. They help to stress a certain emotion or feeling and it can vary among the limitless ones we express and contain. Such a hopelessness is expressed through the intro. The despair. And suddenly the choir. While not demonic like Zman's, they are in a sense...craftily made to fit the theme. A "divine" choir...to represent some sort of "unearthly" punishment. Perfect. The violins continue with the man's internal struggle of darkness and despair. A very good piece indeed, and contains many of the elements I deemed necessary to fit this poem. Even throwing it's own twist on the "demonic vibe" with "divine retribution".
The song is the very struggle itself.

Smash - What the hell the remixed song has some sort of "porno" vibe just WHY
Disregarding that I can also feel the same presence you wished to give. Of course, love. While it does express a longing for the warmth and company of the narrator's loved one, it does it exceptionally well. However it can not compare to that of Mama's entry which describes not only the emotions but the environment as well. A good choice however.

With college, I have begun to realize that it is difficult attempting to succeed in school with so many distractions at hand. It's a hard decision, I assure you, but I must. For my future success. Who knows, once I get the hang of it I might return.
It's been a blast being here. I've met amazing people during my stay. You are all people I shall never forget. You have all impacted me, one way or another, and I am sure we shall stay in touch. It's rather impossible to forget or undo the impression you have all had on me.
It's an incredible experience. The internet phenomena known as the "forum". It disgusts me that we often distinguish the people we know in person from the people we know across the internet as knowing them in "real life" or "online". I despise that. For the people you meet online are just as real as you. They feel, they laugh, they cry, they hurt, and they love. They are just as human as any of the rest of us. So you are all my friends. In fact. You are family.
