Yep, I'm writing a thesis about Nintendo! My idea has been approved! I'm thinking about writing how the consoles have been developing throughout generations (NES-WiiU), but if you have a better idea, I'd like to hear it!

So guise, were there any events that had a big impact on the gaming industry in the past, that are regarding Nintendo? I could use some extra writing material.

What about the partnership with Nintendo and Sony shortly before the making of the Playstation?

Actually, for once, I shall agree with Smash. If Nintendo hadn't teamed up with Sony in an attempt for disc-based gaming, Sony wouldn't be making Playstations.

And they didn't make the CD-i, that was after Sony stopped working with Nintendo.

Yea, I won't, because I figured I should focus on the hardware a lot more than the back story.

Mention about how the company started and what it did in the late 19th century. Oh, and also mention the Game & Watch consoles(?), along with the first arcade game that they developed.

I did write about Donkey Kong and G&W, but not playing cards. That's way off topic.

Be sure to mention some "failures" which helped Nintendo learn from their mistakes and improve on in the future. Such as Virtual Boy and such.
And don't forget to mention Sky Shark as the ultimate success of the NES
