Well, if you are up-to-date with Engadget like me you would had heard all about Windows 8 already.

In my opinion Windows 8 looks great. It looks very user friendly, easy to use, and looks as if viruses won't be much of a problem since Microsoft put the App store on Windows 8. (For all Applefags who are saying in there mind right now that Microsoft have copied this off Apple, you are very wrong. Microsoft have had a app store for years)
The idea of putting the app store into Windows 8 sounds great. I try not to think of it as a app store, I try to think of it as a place where I can get safe downloads, and downloads to alternate programs.
W8 will be compatible with Touch-only screens, and mouse and keyboard. I don't think I will ever buy a Touch-screen since I don't want grease all over my screen (I know I can just wash my hands, but its the other people who will be using my computer that won't). I have never really been a fan of Touch screen since I always miss-touch, and on my DS the touch screen doesn't work properly I press something and it will detect 1CM away from the place I touch. I'm usually laid back, I don't want to keep leaning forward to do something on the screen, and various other reasons which I won't go into detail about.
Although I have to say that the touch screen experience does look great and easy to use with the fluid, natural feeling between switching apps (as Microsoft describes). The whole OS looks as if Touch Screen would probably be the way to go.
And again I will have to say Keyboard and mice is still a winner. Keyboard short-cut's
just make the OS easier to use, and there is times where you will be using the mice, and need to use a keyboard at the same time. For example; Drawing a straight line in Photoshop (Shift, hold left click and let go when you want to). This is one example, but of course there is many more, I just can't be bothered naming so many.
I have heard that W8 will have a fast boot, but of course if your system is slow, so will the startup. I do not know how long it takes to startup, but what I do hope is that its as close or as fast as Chrome OS (7 seconds).
Internet Explorer 10 - Really Microsoft? You only released IE9 recently.
HTML5 - w00t
Multitasking - Touch Screen seems to have that easier. Of course you can do the same with the mouse, but it will take slightly longer. You can think of the reasons yourself.
Tiles - Maybe a replacement for the Taskbar? For people with Windows Mobile, you will not what they are. What Tiles are is a way to organize Apps/folders/programs easier. Here is what they look like:
I know that Tiles will replace the Start Menu, but I think you can create and place tiles anywhere.
I have heard that the beta has been leaked (probably going to get a virus) but I will dig up some information about that later, if I can get it I will post more information here.
Microsoft are now planning to make new OS every two years, but do they really need to? W7 just works great for me, W8 looks just as great. I don't really see why I would need a W9 unless someone discovers how to beam this right into our heads, or technology that Iron Man used to create the suit. That would just be amazing, maybe would could expect to see something like that in 30 years? You can doubt it, but look at how Science is progressing everyday.
So what is everyone's thoughts on W8?

- Changes in the build I have are: Splash screen/Load screen, your profile shows up in the taskbar in the far right corner (Congrats Microsoft for publishing a shitty updated version of W7)
