Just like that spongebob lost episode, it's dead. BUT! Only dead for the 3ds. All the story and mechanics will be moved to the Xbox and Ps3 game, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Will there ever be an Assass game for 3ds?

ACTUALLY...
It doesn't mean there will be no Assassin's Creed for 3DS. There could be one, but with a different story.

Assassin's Creed on 3DS was officially cancelled. Mega Man Legends 3 and this... sadness.
