Well guys, i made a new team, and i hope you like it
First off, my amazing anti lead, thundurus. He abuses prankster taunts, and t-waves. Plus, with great speed and a powerful punch, ( thunder bolt) coupled with HP-ice, it can even hit back.it carries a sash also
Next up is my "core". In this situation, i used a fire/water/grass core
For water, i used vaporeon, which works as a great special attacker, and can abuse wish/protect combo, or pass the wish on to another ally with low health. It has the item leftovers.
Heatran, my fire type, s probably one on of the biggest fire threats in the meta game. Its fire steel, so it takes neutral rock damage, unlike most fire types. I gave mine air balloon, and i usually send it in after somthing faints. It can usually take a hit, and with access to some excellent covarage with Hp-ice, overheat, dragon pulse and earth power, it pretty much hits everything for decent damage.
Breloom, my grass type, runs amok with spore, and abusing substitute and focus punch. With toxic orb and poison heal, it works great, usually recovering all health sacrificed by the substitute in 2 turns. Not all that much to say, but he's a great physical attacker. Oh and also, just for a rule of thumb for anyone using it, make sure to have a gliscor counter, because breloom cant exactly get the job done with gliscor.
Hydregion, surprisingly not uber, is an amazing revenge killer. With a scarf and a modest nature, it gets almost 400 spA and 500+spd. plus, with the great dragon/fire/fighting combo, it hits everything in the metagame for atleast neutral damage! It hits incredibly hard with draco meteor, and with stab anything thats not a special wall or doesn't resist it should get wipe out in 1 hit, providing you haven't gotten the -2 from a prior usage.
Finally, my glue Pokemon, scarfed azelf. I noticed on this team, i have problems with ice and fighting types, and with flamethrower and psychic on azelf, it works great. Not all to much to say, but mine is a physical variant, considering its my only physical attacker besides breloom.
To summarize my team into categories, i used somthing that i usually use to make my teams.
First is a lead/anti lead in my case thundurus.
Next, you should always have a physical attacker, in my case breloom.
With a physical attacker, you must always have a special attacker, in my case heatran.
Next is support, something that abuses hax or wish, or heal bell, etc, in my case vaporeon.
Almost last, a good revenge killer. A revenge killer needs to be able to outspeed the opponent, and is usually sent out for "revenge" after one of your pokemon faints. In my case, hydregion does an excellent job at this.
Finally, glue. Glue is the pokemon that covers up any last weaknesses, in my case this is azelf.
Some notes
I might make a guide for the basic structure of a team, with more detail.
Please leave any Constructive criticism on the team.
Thank you sparky, who helped me quite a bit with this team, and zman who i battled and found one of my major weaknesses.
Lastly this is pretty random, but i find this one of my "top quality" posts of all my posts on the forum
